Video Notes

Upload reference videos to your Knowledge Base so your team can save and reuse clips alongside manuals and notes.

What Video Notes Are For

Video Notes let you store short clips that are easier to show than to describe — commissioning walkthroughs, unusual noises, step sequences on a controller, or anything your team would rather watch than read. They live in your Knowledge Base with the rest of your organization's reference material.

Uploading a Video Note

1

Open Knowledge Base from the sidebar and go to the Video Notes area.

2

Upload your video file.

3

Enter a clear title and a detailed description of the video. Include as much detail as you can: what the clip shows, equipment make and model, building or site context, symptoms or error codes, which procedure or test is being performed, who it is for, and anything else a colleague would need to know before watching.

4

Wait until the entry shows as ready, same as other Knowledge Base items.

Using Video Notes in Chat

When a conversation is relevant to a saved clip, the assistant can offer a link to the right Video Note so you can open it in one click — without hunting through filenames or folders.

Pro Tips
  • Treat the description like a handover note to the next technician: the more context you add, the more useful the clip is for your team.
  • Keep titles distinct when you have many clips so everyone can tell them apart at a glance.
